Afterthought: Although we face many changes in our lives, there is one thing that will never change. “Life is lovely.”

Question: Why couldn’t the author be patient listening to the Reb finishing his song?

    Artical: The File on God

    Summary:
The author was taken to the reb’s office.
In the begining, the author was very unconfortable. "As if a Doctor and patient had just met, and how the patient had to remove all his clothes."
But gradually, he had no longer consider the reb as a mentor, but a regular old man. And he had taken writing the reb's epitaph as a chore and wished that it can be done soon.
However, life doesn't always turn out as our expectation. The reb didn't had the answer to what the author should say on his funeral until the end of the chapter. In the end, the author asked:"Did God answer you?" And the reb surprisingly answered:"Hah, still waiting."

    Afterthought:
No man can be completely holy and wise. No metter how close to God, men is still flesh and has his weaknesses. And a senior clergy can still got unsolved spiritual problems.
This is the way of life and reality.

    Questions:
1.How did the author feel about talking with the Reb in the Reb’s home office?
Ans: He felt uncomfortable and as if that he was seen through at a glance.
2.Why did the author used short conversations on page 19?
3.Why there was no answer to what the author should say on the reb's funeral at the end of the story?
